Withdrawal

He gave me permission, he said “I relieve you of your burden of secrecy.” But when I began to tell my story he screamed at me, called me selfish and childish and commanded me to stop. Sadly, I made my story invisible and then became invisible myself, withdrawn from all society, alone.

  1. Stories can be scary things. But silence is a tricksy thing, sometimes turning a hidden edge when you least expect it. Huge sympathies for the heartbreak you’re enduring. I’m free for hot beverage of choice and company/sympathetic ear/distraction should you have the inclination. There is always a through to these things, though the tunnel sometimes looks suspiciously like a train might come your way. :p
