Happy Groundhog Day! (6 more weeks of winter on the way) I’m grateful to live in Seattle: I love the seasons, I love how you can go from sea to city to farmland to mountains within a few hours, I love our conservation practices and our activism, and I love our compassionate, weird, eclectic people. Where else do you have a protest march that stops at corners for traffic lights before continuing on. And we totally do wait and wave each other through at four-way stops – “you go ahead; no really, it’s your turn; that’s okay, I’m not in a hurry; please, you first!
