I’m grateful to have had such a fun evening out last night! After work I drove out to my mom’s house – she and I had salmon, salad and potatoes au gratin for dinner – yum! We had a little time to chat and relax after dinner, then I headed out to the Historic Everett Theatre for the SPG concert.
I had originally bought tickets for five of us, myself, Cecily and her roomie Lance, and Samantha and Jonathan, however Cecily was unable to make it so she gave her tickets to friends Amanda and Bryan, and the others didn’t show.
The concert itself was so fun – the band members all stay in character throughout the performance, there’s lots of audience interaction, cool effects and silly antics, plus “Zero,” their new band member, this was only his second performance with them.
I knew every song (I have all their albums) and sang along. After the show they stay and sign autographs until everyone who wants one has one – no matter how long it takes. They have a very personal relationship with their fans. What an enjoyable experience!
