The Great Admissions Reading Challenge 2: Book 16: Sense and Sensibility

I’ve read Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility a few times, but this time listened to the audiobook and very much enjoyed hearing it in proper British fashion. The world of 18th century England could be a limiting and difficult time for women of little means as the Dashwood girls find themselves after the death of their father. Elinor and Marianne maneuver their way through society to find their own places and partners, facing joys and challenges together along the way with better grace than I might have employed.

Completed 11/24/17, current balance 219.5 points.
